CROFT provided full architectural and engineering design services for a major $3.6M interior renovation of the 47,000 SF of historic Sequoya Hall. The 1968 building required an intensive update of building systems, finishes, ADA restrooms and classroom layouts to provide more conducive spaces for varied instructional methods. The renovation provides overflow space for the College’s science, technology and mathematics programs which have experienced dramatic growth in recent years. In addition to STEM programs, the renovated Sequoya Hall also houses faculty offices and academic classrooms. The CROFT team designed the Science Teaching Labs to have a fresh new look with upgraded lab tables, fixtures, fume hoods and mechanical exhaust snorkels.
