CROFT provided master planning and full architectural and engineering design for the addition of two new facilities at North Cobb High School. The expansion included a new 3,000-seat sports arena at the north of campus, a classroom section, and a new 750-seat performing arts center on the south of campus. CROFT developed a multi-step construction phasing and laydown plan that allowed the integration of these two new large venues into an existing 2,800-student campus with no disruption to student functions. The new state-of-the-art facilities are integrated seamlessly into one of the oldest active high school facilities in Cobb County while tying into the site’s complex network of 60-year-old utility infrastructure. The project includes the renovation of the main classroom building on campus, including repainting and boiler replacement.
