CROFT provided full architectural and engineering design services to support the expansion of Jim R. Miller Park. The complex project included a new electrical distribution system, storm water infrastructure, site comfort amenities, and upgrades to a medium sized dam at the park. To support large events such as the North Georgia Fair, the scope included design charrette, full architectural and engineering design, cost estimating, and construction administration to expand the large park consistent with the existing park master plan. Design charrette identified the need to provide restrooms and shower facilities with additional fixtures to support future growth.
CROFT’s project included: Park Gateway, Central Restrooms, Campground Restrooms, Shower Facilities, Hardscape Design, Retail Area Master Plan, 21,000 SF Facility Design, Dam Safety Improvements, Lakeside Restrooms, Electrical Infrastructure, Storm Water Expansion, ADA Improvement, and Landscape Improvements.
