The project consists of the design of four cottages to replace the existing cabins at Fort Yargo State Park. CROFT designed these cottages using sustainable design principles in mind. The cabins will be 3 three-bedroom (1 ADA accessible) and 1 two-bedroom cabin that will be ADA accessible. The design for these cabins is based on the previously developed cabin design utilized at Red Top Mountain. The cottage layout goal for the site is to maximize the views of the lake and improve the efficiency of the previous cabin designs. This project consists of new construction of four single story 2-3 bedroom cottages, replacing three existing cottages. The design services will be divided into four phases: pre development and site visit, schematic design, construction documents and construction administration. The cabins will feature a kitchen, dining area, living space, screened in porch, bedrooms and bathrooms.
