CROFT provided design and construction administration services for the capacity upgrade of an existing data hall from 500 kW to 1 MW and a buildout of a 7,000 square-foot dark shell space to a 1 MW data hall. These projects occurred in concurrent years. The buildout project included the addition of standard retail and colocation rack space as well as High-Performance Computing (HPC) racks. Both data halls were built to ASHRAE Data Center Tier II resiliency standards for concurrent maintainability. The electrical systems were designed for 4N/3 redundancy and the mechanical systems were designed for 5N/4 redundancy for both data halls.
