CROFT provided full architectural and engineering design services for the 42,580 SF expansion and renovation of the Cobb County Civic Center. The project required a detailed investigation of existing conditions and an expansion design that tied the new building expansion into existing building systems in the highly visible two-story facility. The expansion and renovation included the addition of community classrooms and prefunction lobby, as well as significant exterior envelope, fire protection, life safety, utility, kitchen, loading dock, mechanical, electrical, and technology upgrades to reestablish the nearly 50 year old facility as the premier event venue in Cobb County.
