GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Senior Designer at CROFT is responsible for delivering comprehensive design services to project managers, teammates, and clients within a collaborative team environment. Key duties include conducting programming, space planning, producing REVIT drawings, creating renderings, coordinating with building systems, and selecting and coordinating finish materials and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). The Senior Designer also contributes to the development and nurturing of client relationships through innovative design concepts. Working as part of the Design Team, the Senior Designer engages with various business units and departments to ensure the successful completion of projects and provides exceptional client experience.

  • Work with the design team to develop cohesive, appropriate, and excellent design solutions
  • Research concepts and materials to support design team on technical issues related to occupants’ experience
  • Works within time schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion
  • Conduct on-site observations and provide recommendations to help streamline ongoing design projects
  • Prepare and participate in client presentations
  • Promotes the principles of sustainable design appropriately to match client expectations and project budget
  • Select furniture, materials, and finishes while working within client provided budget

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of six years of experience in the A/E/C or interior design industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design from a CIDA-accredited program
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • NCIDQ registration is preferred
  • Working knowledge of REVIT, Illustrator, and InDesign graphic software
  • Familiarity with Lumion and/or Enscape is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to serve clients effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and strong presentation skills
  • Meticulous attention to quality and detail
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Capability to maintain organization in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in furniture specification and procurement is a plus
